On October 6-7 Vilnius is for the second time hosting Baltic Miltech Summit 2021, an international defence technology event. It will pull together representatives of the defence industry, policy makers, scientific research centers and the military of Lithuania, Baltic region, and other NATO allies and European Union members to provide cooperation opportunities.
An international conference on October 6 will explore the trends of the development of military technology around the globe, as well as the chain of development and supply of new technologies, European Defence Fund initiatives, developing the defence ecosystem, etc. A business-to-business meeting session will facilitate networking with possible partners, both the conference and the meetings will take place in-person and online. On October 7 and international weaponry exhibition at the Lithuanian Armed Forces General Silvestras Žukauskas Training Area (Švenčionys region) will provide an opportunity to test out different weaponry and military equipment in an open-field environment.
