On 21-22 June Minister of National Defence Laurynas Kasčiūnas will be visiting Germany in attendance at the Kiel Security Conference. He is also planned to meet with Admiral Stuart B. Munsch, Commander U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa (NAVEUR-NAVAF) and Vice Admiral Thomas E. Ishee, Commander U.S. 6th Fleet.
Minister will speak on the key challenges to the Baltic and Nordic security architecture and solutions necessary to respond to the changing security environment.
The Kiel Security Conference was established in 2015. The forum brings together representatives of the militaries, academia, industry and politics to focus on the Baltic region and the High North security policies. This year the Conference will address political and military challenges and their implications to the Nordic countries.
