On April 22–23 Minister of National Defence Laurynas Kasčiūnas is conducting formal visit to Luxembourg and Sweden.
On April 22 Minister will attend the European Union Foreign Affairs Council (and Defence) session on the EU military assistance to Ukraine.
Later Minister L. Kasčiūnas will travel to Stockholm to take part in scheduled meetings with Sweden’s Minister of Defence and Minister for Civil Defence, Committee on Foreign Affairs and its Chair, and representatives of Sweden’s defence industry on April 23. Relevant security and defence, defence industry matters and cooperation opportunities are planned to be discussed at the meetings.
While in Stockholm, Minister will also attend the Road to NATO‘s Washington Summit: The Future of Nordic-Baltic Allies event.
