Tuesday Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas leaves on a formal visit for Brussels to attend an extraordinary NATO Defence Ministers’ meeting on March 16.
At the meeting in Brussels A. Anušauskas and his NATO counterparts will discuss the assistance their countries are rendering to Ukraine, measures to strengthen deterrence and defence of the eastern flank of NATO, and defence financing.
NATO Defence Ministers are planned to have a session with their counterparts of Georgia, Finland, Sweden and Ukraine, and EU representatives. Minister of Defence of Ukraine will join via digital means.
