Remembrance Day commemorated, tribute paid to victims of World War I

November 11, Vice Minister of National Defence Margiris Abukevičius and Commander of the Lithuanian Air Force Col Dainius Guzas marked Remembrance Day in the honour of victims of World War I, violence and terror.

At the ceremony at Antakalnis Cemetery the Honor Guard Company laid flower tributes at the Grande Armee memorial to the tunes of a Lithuanian Armed Forces Band trumpet.

The Remembrance Day commemoration in Lithuania was organized by the Embassy of France and the Ministry of National Defence.
