Palantir Technologies Inc., a software and services company that specializes in big data analytics, has entered into strategic partnership with the Ministry of National Defence as it plans to expand operations in Lithuania. The intended area of cooperation covers design of new digital solutions.

We are more than grateful to the President of Lithuania for our new partnership with the Ministry of Defense to establish a technical center in Vilnius, which will strengthen not only the nation and its Baltic partners, but also the democratic values which they seek to uphold,” says Alexander C. The strategic partnership with Lithuania is geared towards technological solutions and subsequent enhancement of the defensive capabilities of the region. Palantir Technologies team will seek to hire highly competent software engineers in Lithuania. The Ministry of National Defence has agreed to sharing insights concerning the potential application of the solutions in defence, as well as their further development.

Palantir Technologies combines practical expertise in distributed systems infrastructure, big data processing, user experience design, and data science. Solutions proposed by the company have already helped handling the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring military support to Ukraine and resettling Ukrainian refugees to Lithuania.
