On March 7-8 Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas will be in attendance at an informal meeting of the EU Defence Ministers in Stockholm. Ministers will address the EU military assistance to Ukraine, they are planned to be joined by the Ukrainian counterpart by digital means. Also, status of the ongoing EU military missions and operations will be presented, as well as aspects of cooperation with NATO and the United Nations, in an effort to counter the threats to international security.
The Lithuanian-coordinated PESCO Cyber Rapid Response Teams (CRRT) project is expected to be augmented by Belgium and Slovenia. The project aims to consolidate the countries’ cyber capabilities for a common response to potential cyber incidents and threats.
