Minister of National Defence Laurynas Kasčiūnas departs for Brussels to attend the European Union Foreign Affairs Council in Defence Ministers configuration Tuesday, November 19. The session will address immediate and long-term assistance to Ukraine, defective capabilities of the EU, defence cooperation and industry.
On the sidelines of the European Defence Agency Steering Board he will sign a Letter of Intent with Minister of Defence of Sweden Pål Jonson on bilateral defence cooperation, Minister will also meet with Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto who will sign the note of adherence to the Lithuanian-led EU Cyber Rapid Response Teams ad Mutual Assistance in Cyber Security (PESCO CRRT) project.
After the meeting in Brussels Minister L. Kasčiūnas will travel to Copenhagen to take part in the Nordic-Baltic 8 (NB8) and the Northern Group Defence Ministers’ meetings.
