March 9, Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas met with Ambassador of Ukraine to Lithuania HE Petro Beshta to discuss Lithuania’s assistance to Ukraine in more detail.
They also addressed the possibility for Lithuanian citizens to volunteer go provide assistance in Ukraine, they are advised to coordinate it closely with the Embassy of Ukraine.
A. Anušauskas reaffirmed to Ambassador Lithuania’s continued assistance to Ukraine in its fight against the Russian invaders in every way we can.
The Ministry of National Defence encourages Lithuanian citizens to support Ukraine while staying in Lithuania in a variety of ways, such as fundraising and donations, providing temporary shelter, etc.
