New Mercedes-Benz Arocs have been added to the warehouses of the Lithuanian Armed Forces as Lithuania’s military logistical capacity is strengthened.
The vehicle is attuned to a specific role of container and platform transportation. The equipment procurement contract stood at EUR 3.7 million.
Another type of vehicle which has been just delivered is Renault K fuel tankers bought for approx. EUR 2.3 million. These introduce a new capability in the Lithuanian Armed Forces to supply fuel for the fighter jet squadron.
The logistical capabilities are a critical Division enabler. The Armed Forces would not be able to function properly without reliable and mobile vehicles.
The process of Division development encompasses strengthening not just combat platforms but also support systems, including logistics and transport.
