Early in the morning of February 24 the Russian Federation started war against Ukraine in blatant violation of the norms of international law. Lithuania stands by the independence and sovereignty of UKRAine with its internationally recognized borders.
“The war on Ukraine has been started. The Baltic states and Poland will call for activation of NATO Article 4. This decision will be processed at the State Defence Council today,” says Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas.
