A new military campus is planned in the Klaipėda district via a public-private partnership, dedicated to the “Žemaitija” Motorized Infantry Brigade and mandatory military service conscripts.
The project will span an area of 80 hectares and house around 1,500 Lithuanian Armed Forces soldiers. State investment stands at approximately 520 million euros including VAT, which includes 12 years of maintenance and services.
