We seek to have as many combat-ready German troops with cutting-edge equipment in Lithuania as possible. To achieve that we need a coordinated action plan, we are designing and will develop the missing infrastructure in Lithuania. We have a lot to do but the most important part of it is that Germany stands by its commitment to Lithuania and invests in military infrastructure in Rukla,” says Vice Minister Vilius Semeška.
The current action plan foresees the military infrastructure needed in Lithuania in place and fully ready to host a brigade-sized unit by 2026.
