Minister of National Defence Robertas Kaunas met with the Ambassador of the United States to Lithuania, HE Kara C. McDonald.
“Despite the review of U.S. forces in Europe, the U.S. Ally has assured us that they are not walking from the commitment to Lithuania’s security. Lithuania was once again underlined as a role model Ally and the United States remains one of the pillar security guarantors – for which we are deeply grateful,” said Minister of National Defence R. Kaunas after the meeting.
Ambassador McDonald underscored that the close partnership between the two Allies will continue to be founded on openness and incessant cooperation.
