On May 12 Minister of National Defence Robertas Kaunas will take part in the Foreign Affairs Council (Defence) in Brussels. The meeting will focus on the ways of increasing and accelerating military assistance to Ukraine, security situation in the Middle East and its impact on the European security and defence, and initiatives for improving defence readiness.
Minister of National Defence will also attend the meeting of the European Defence Agency (EDA) Steering Board.
On May 13 Minister will join the discussion on strengthening the EU eastern boarder organised by the Lithuanian Permanent Representation to the European Union
