Cyber security discussed with Sweden’s representatives


On March 28 Lithuanian and Swedish cyber security was discussed at the Ministry of National Defence of Lithuania. Vice Minister of National Defence Edvinas Kerza and Head of the National Cyber Security Centre Rimtautas Černiauskas presented Lithuania’s cyber security policy to Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Lithuania HE Maria Christinai Lundqvist, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Latvia HE Henrik Landerholm, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Estonia HE Anders Ljunggren, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, and Defence Attaché of Sweden to Lithuania Ö.Ström. Status quo in the area was presented and potential future cyber security challenges were also discussed.


Sweden’s representatives shared their country’s experience in cyber security and informed Lithuanian colleagues that Sweden’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs was drafting a Cyber Security Strategy.
