Lithuanian Navy Force Commander to visit Navy of Spain

Commander of the Lithuanian Navy Fleet's Admiral Kestutis Macijauskas is to make the first visit to the Spanish Navy from October 29 to November 1 on the invitation of Spanish Navy Commander Admiral Sebastian Zaragoza.
During the meeting admiral S.Zaragoza will share the experience of Spanish Navy in operating as part of NATO Response Force. Such instructions are highly appreciated as Lithuania is assigning a Counterminer to NATO Response Force next year. Generally Spanish Navy allocates frigates, staff support ships, and mine hunters/weepers to such NATO Forces.
The Commander of Lithuanian Navy will get acquainted with Spanish Navy development perspectives, and the Navy Arsenal ”El Ferrol", the Logistics Centre armament systems service and technical maintenance is provided from, ammunition stored. A visit to shipyard ”Navantia" is also on schedule.
Ambassador of Lithuania for Spain Mecys Laurinkus and Honorary Consul in La Coruna region Rafael Jose R. de Espona will keep company for Fleet's Admiral K.Macijauskas during the meetings.
